Along with jazz, the cocktail is
one of America's gifts to the world. You will learn about the birth of
these lovely beverages and enjoy a pre-cocktalian punch from colonial
times. Bradstreet's mixologists will explain basic bar gear: shaker, muddler, strainer, juicer, zester, and jigger. You will get hands-on experience measuring, juicing, muddling, straining and shaking, the subtle and necessary steps to creating a great cocktail. Last,
but certainly not least, you’ll get a brief introduction to the science
of fermentation and distillation and how they create a wide range of spirits. Tasting Bradstreet's carefully selected collection of gin, rum, tequila, whiskey, brandy, vodka and rye whiskey will follow.
